The brain stereotaxic instrument is a device used for positioning and fixing the heads of experimental animals. During experiments, the animal's head is first fixed with the stereotaxic instrument to prevent any relative movement. Then, a three-dimensional coordinate system defined by external skull landmarks or other reference points is used, combined with the brain atlas of the experimental animal, to determine the positions of certain subcortical neural nuclei (such as the hippocampus). This allows directional stimulation, destruction, drug injection, and guided positioning of the target neural nuclei without direct visual exposure. It can be applied to the establishment of animal models of Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and brain tumors, as well as research on learning and memory, intracerebral neural stem cell transplantation, and cerebral ischemia.
The Z5013 Dual-Arm Digital Display Brain Stereotaxic Instrument from Zhaorui Precision Technology adopts a universal U-shaped base with an open structure, facilitating multi-angle operations. It is suitable for experiments on various animals (rats, mice, lizards, birds, cats, guinea pigs, etc.). The operating arms can rotate 180° vertically and 360° horizontally, providing researchers with flexible and precise positioning. It is also equipped with a variety of probes and electrode holders, and customized holders can be provided to meet different experimental requirements.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
1. Suitable for brain positioning of rats, mice and other small animals
2. Displacement sensors and LCD digital display screens are added to the 3D operating arms of the original standard stereotaxic instrument
3. X, Y, Z three-axis movement range: 0-80mm, reading accuracy: 10μm; Data can be directly read on the LCD screen, reducing the risk of human reading errors and improving accuracy
4. The movement distances of X, Y, Z axes are displayed in real time on the LCD screen, allowing users to read the data without checking front and back
5. The X, Y, Z coordinates can be zeroed at any position on the screen, enabling direct positioning according to the atlas at the Bregma point, avoiding secondary reading and calculation, and simplifying the experimental operation process
6. The LCD screen enables operations under low-light conditions, suitable for dim environments where vernier scale reading is limited
7. Accurate 3D spatial positioning and angle rotation adjustment are available
8. 180° vertical rotation with lockable position at any angle
9. Separate vertical locking and positioning knobs ensure precise operation at any angle, with precisely designed lateral rotation operation space
10. Scale components processed with special technology eliminate reading fatigue; the animal adapter head adopts a curved spring structure to compress, fixing the animal's head without damaging the tissue
11. Ear bars adopt a pressure plate design with additional springs; left and right sides are pushed symmetrically to the middle with consistent readings on both sides
12. Can be matched with micro-injection pumps, micro-imaging devices, cranial drills, electrodes, etc. for precise positioning
13. Optional animal adapters for rats, mice, cats, rabbits, geckos, guinea pigs, etc.
14. Concise and exquisite appearance, with convenient and flexible installation and adjustment methods
15. Imported sensors and display screens are selected for stable and reliable quality, without display abnormalities caused by humid environments or water ingress
16. The digital display screen uses a cover-type battery box for tool-free battery replacement; battery power supply avoids electronic noise and electromagnetic interference, suitable for electrophysiological experiments
17. One-click locking mechanism added to the Y direction to prevent misoperation during experiments
18. One-click zero return design for the rotating base (ensuring the verticality of the cross arm)
