The brain stereotaxic instrument is a device used for positioning and fixing the heads of experimental animals. During experiments, the stereotaxic instrument is first used to fix the animal's head to prevent any relative movement. Then, a three-dimensional coordinate system defined by external landmarks on the animal's skull or other reference points is applied, combined with the brain atlas of the experimental animal, to determine the positions of certain subcortical neural nuclei (e.g., the hippocampus). This enables targeted stimulation, lesioning, drug injection, and guided positioning of the neural nuclei under non-direct visualization conditions. It can be used in research fields such as the establishment of Parkinson's disease animal models, epilepsy animal models, intracranial tumor models, learning and memory studies, intracerebral neural stem cell transplantation, and cerebral ischemia research.
The Z01 Rat and Mouse Brain Stereotaxic Instrument from Zhaorui Precision Technology adopts a universal U-shaped base with an open structure, facilitating multi-angle operations. It is suitable for a variety of animal experiments (rats, mice, lizards, birds, cats, guinea pigs, etc.). The operating arm, which can rotate 180° vertically and 360° horizontally, provides researchers with flexible and precise positioning. Additionally, it is equipped with various specifications of probes and electrode holders, and customized holders can be provided to meet different experimental requirements of users.
