The stereotaxic instrument is a device used for positioning and fixing the brains of laboratory animals. During experiments, the stereotaxic instrument is first used to fix the animal's head to prevent any relative movement. Then, a three-dimensional coordinate system defined by external skull landmarks or other reference points is applied, combined with the brain atlas of the laboratory animal, to locate specific subcortical nuclei such as the hippocampus. This enables targeted stimulation, lesioning, drug injection, and guided positioning of the studied nuclei without direct visual exposure. It can be used for establishing animal models of Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, and intracranial tumors, as well as for research on learning and memory, intracerebral neural stem cell transplantation, and cerebral ischemia.
Zhaorui Precision Technology's Z5012 Standard Digital Display Stereotaxic Instrument adopts a universal U-shaped base with an open structure, facilitating multi-angle operations. It is suitable for various animal experiments (rats, mice, lizards, birds, cats, guinea pigs, etc.). The operating arm, which can rotate 180° vertically and 360° horizontally, provides researchers with flexible and precise positioning. Additionally, it is equipped with various specifications of probes and electrode holders, and customized holders can be provided to meet different experimental requirements of users.
Typical Applications

Technical Parameters
1. Suitable for brain positioning of rats, mice, etc.
2. Added displacement sensors and LCD digital display on the 3D operating arm of the original standard stereotaxic instrument
3. X, Y, Z three-axis movement range: 0-80mm, reading accuracy: 10μm; Data can be directly read on the LCD screen, reducing the risk of human reading errors and improving accuracy
4. The movement distance of X, Y, Z three axes can be displayed in real time on the LCD screen, allowing users to directly read the movement distance without checking data back and forth
5. The X, Y, Z three-axis coordinates can be zeroed at any position on the display screen, and positioning can be directly performed according to the atlas at the Bregma point, avoiding secondary reading and calculation, and simplifying the experimental operation process
6. The LCD display enables surgery under low-light conditions, suitable for dim environments where reading vernier scales is limited
7. Accurate positioning in three-dimensional space and angle rotation adjustment are available
8. Can rotate 180° vertically and lock at any position at any time
9. Vertical locking and positioning knobs are separated to ensure precise operation at any angle, with precisely designed lateral rotation operation space
10. Scale components processed with special technology eliminate fatigue caused by reading; The head of the animal adapter adopts a curved spring structure to compress, which fixes the animal without damaging the head tissue
11. The ear bars adopt a pressing plate method with additional springs; The left and right sides are pushed symmetrically to the middle with consistent readings on both sides
12. Can be matched with microinjectors, microscopic imaging devices, cranial drills, electrodes, etc. for precise positioning
13. Optional animal adapters for rats, mice, cats, rabbits, geckos, guinea pigs, etc.
14. Simple and exquisite appearance, convenient and flexible installation and adjustment methods
15. Imported sensors and display screens are selected, with stable and reliable quality, and no display abnormalities caused by humid environment or water inflow
16. The digital display screen adopts a cover-opening battery box, allowing battery replacement without tools; Battery power supply avoids electronic noise and electromagnetic interference, suitable for electrophysiological experiments
17. To prevent misoperation, a one-key locking mechanism is added in the Y direction (to prevent misoperation during experiments)
18. The rotating base is designed with one-key zero reset (ensuring the verticality of the cross arm)
