The brain stereotaxic instrument is a device used for positioning and fixing the heads of experimental animals. During experiments, the brain stereotaxic instrument is first used to fix the animal's head to prevent any relative movement. Then, a three-dimensional coordinate system defined by external skull landmarks or other reference points of the animal is applied, and combined with the brain stereotaxic atlas of the experimental animal to determine the positions of certain subcortical neural nuclei (such as the hippocampus). This enables directional stimulation, destruction, drug injection, guidance and positioning of the neural nuclei under non-direct exposure conditions. It can be used for the establishment of Parkinson's disease animal models, epilepsy animal models, intracranial tumor models, as well as research on learning and memory, intracerebral neural stem cell transplantation, cerebral ischemia and other fields.
The Z02 portable brain stereotaxic instrument eliminates the U-shaped bracket, and the mouse adapter is directly integrated with the base plate, providing a spacious and open space for experiments and facilitating the head positioning operation of mice by researchers.
Typical Applications
Technical Parameters
1. Small base plate size: 255mm x 255mm
2. Ear bar material: Polyoxymethylene resin for mice (unique and lightweight); Stainless steel for rats (durable)
3. Incisor clamp vertical adjustment range: 20mm (0mm~+20mm)
4. Ear bar vertical adjustment range: 20mm (0mm~+20mm)
5. Ear bars with scale lines (precision 1mm) for easy balancing and fixing operations
6. Ear bars with insertion and fixation methods (18° blunt head and circular hollow serrations) to prevent skull damage
7. Optional double-arm configuration available
8. Safe voltage, 12V constant temperature heating control for the base plate
