Z5051 Portable Lightweight Brain Stereotaxic Instrument

The brain stereotaxic instrument is a device used for positioning and fixing the head of experimental animals. During the experiment, the animal's head is first fixed with the stereotaxic instrument to prevent any relative movement. Then, a three-dimensional coordinate system defined by external landmarks on the animal's skull or other reference points is used, and combined with the brain atlas of the experimental animal, the positions of certain subcortical neural nuclei (such as the hippocampus) are determined. This allows directional stimulation, destruction, drug injection, guidance positioning and other operations on the studied neural nuclei without direct visual exposure. It can be used for the establishment of Parkinson's disease animal models, epilepsy animal models, intracranial tumor models, as well as research on learning and memory, intracerebral neural stem cell transplantation, cerebral ischemia, etc.        

The Z5051 Portable Brain Stereotaxic Instrument eliminates the U-shaped bracket, and the mouse adapter is directly combined with the base plate, providing a spacious and open space for the experiment, which facilitates the experimenter to perform head positioning operations on mice.
