The Z5110 Craniocerebral Injury Impactor adopts the principle of free fall. It consists of a standard brain stereotaxic instrument, a free-fall striker, weights, an impact pin and other components, and is mainly used as equipment for establishing animal models of craniocerebral injury.
The Z5110 Craniocerebral Injury Impactor uses a brain stereotaxic instrument to fix the animal's head without any relative movement. The three-dimensional manipulator is moved to accurately locate the strike site. Then, based on the principle of free fall, the impact position and impact force are precisely controlled by selecting weights of different masses and limit devices, thereby causing craniocerebral injuries of varying degrees in animals. It can create highly reproducible craniocerebral injury models without computer software control, featuring simple operation, strong practicability and high cost performance. It is mainly applied in neuroscience research for establishing experimental models on small animals such as mice, rats and guinea pigs.
