Z5113 Spinal Cord Injury Instrument

The spinal cord impactor works on the principle of free fall, consisting of a striker pin, weights, metal tube, spinal cord clamp and other components. It is mainly used to create animal models of spinal cord injury. By selecting weights of different masses and using limit devices, the spinal cord impactor can precisely control the impact position and force, resulting in varying degrees of spinal cord injury in animals. It can produce highly reproducible spinal cord injury models without the need for computer software control, featuring simple operation, strong practicability and high cost-effectiveness. It is mainly applied in neuroscience research to establish experimental models for small animals such as mice, rats and guinea pigs.
