The brain stereotaxic instrument is a device used for positioning and fixing the heads of experimental animals. During experiments, the brain stereotaxic instrument is first used to fix the animal's head to prevent any relative movement. Then, a three-dimensional coordinate system defined by external landmarks on the animal's skull or other reference points is adopted. According to the brain stereotaxic atlas of the experimental animal, the positions of certain subcortical neural nuclei, such as the hippocampus, are determined. This enables directional stimulation, destruction, drug injection, guidance and positioning of the neural nuclei under study without direct visual exposure. It can be used in the establishment of animal models of Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, intracranial tumor models, learning and memory research, intracerebral neural stem cell transplantation, cerebral ischemia and other studies.
The Z5057 Dual-Arm Large Animal Brain Stereotaxic Instrument is compatible with animals of different weights, including large animals such as cats, dogs, monkeys, pigs, as well as mice and rats for brain science experiments. It adopts a unique rotating fixed bracket structure, and the track can rotate 360 degrees, suitable for applications at various angles. Two parallel tracks can easily install four operating arms to perform multiple independent operations on one animal at the same time.
Technical Parameters
1. X-axis Rotation: -90°~90°
2. Z-axis Rotation: -90°~90°
3. X & Z-axis Adjustment Range: 0~80mm
