The mouse voluntary running wheel system is driven by the spontaneous movement of the animals themselves to rotate the running wheel. In this configuration, information about the long-term activities of animals in the cage, such as the rotation direction, number of rotations, and cumulative total travel distance of the running wheel, can be recorded by a length meter using an encoder. This device consists of a rotating wheel assembly, a cage body, and a rotation direction and speed sensor. The instrument is an experimental tool for studying the living rhythms of animals. A feeder can also be optionally equipped for exercise reward experiments and other studies.
